A social enterprise based in Hartlepool is set to close at the end of the month unless they can generate more money.
Funky World which provides a soft play area, slides and a sensory cave has 1,000 families on the books as well as hosting children's birthday parties and a function room which can be hired out.
Only four months ago the centre was a finalist in Hartlepool Business Awards for the Most Promising New Business Category. Currently the centre needs £10,000 a month to keep their services going.
Funky World are now hoping that people will help support them or an organisation will come forward to sponsor them.
